The Yön Silmä (Finnish and means eye of the night) is a bangle with intricate Norse decorations and raven heads at each end of the bangle. Very unusual and worked out true to detail and then antique silver finish and matted. Due to its open design, the bracelet is quickly put on. A very eye-catching and detail-loving design that goes with almost every outfit and can also be combined very nicely with other pieces of jewellery. The bangle was elaborately worked out in 3D and decorated at the end with a raven head. The bangle is very solid and heavy but can still be adjusted thanks to the zinc stainless steel alloy. If you are looking for something eye-catching and special, you will have a lot of fun with this bracelet.
What does a raven symbolize? In Norse mythology, the raven symbolizes wisdom, the god Odin always had the two ravens Hugin and Munin with him, who sat on his shoulders and reported to him what was going on in the world.
Data sheet
There are two ways to measure size: you can measure wrist circumference or the length of a matching bracelet. In the table below you can see which size is right for you. We advise you to measure your wrist circumference as it is a fixed size and therefore we can make a perfectly fitting bracelet. If you measure the length, you can enter the appropriate size (round up). This method is not as accurate and therefore not recommended*.
Wrist Circumference | Size* |
16 cm | ±18 cm |
17 cm | ±19 cm |
18 cm | ±20 cm |
19 cm | ±21 cm |
20 cm | ±22 cm |
21 cm | ±23 cm |
We recommend measuring the wrist circumference. You can easily measure this by placing a tape measure around your wrist where you wear the bracelet. Just take actual size and don't add centimeters. Don't measure too tight and don't measure too loose.
Alternatively, if you don't have a tape measure, you can take a strip of paper and trace it on your wrist, then measure the length of the strip to the measured point; this is the wrist circumference. If you take the length of another matching bracelet, remember that this is not as precise. This is because the thickness is different per bracelet.
