The Loistava Mennyt Blue Edition (Finnish and means bright past) a noble set consisting of a stainless steel necklace in a fine snake design and the matching stainless steel bracelet. In addition, each with five solid skulls, decorated beads and 16 zirconia stones in bright blue. All with a stainless steel carabiner clasp. Extravagantly but elegantly designed and with the practical lobster clasp, the bracelet and necklace hold firmly on the wrist and neck. The bracelet is 19, 21 or 23 cm long and the necklace is 55 cm long. Clasps are made of stainless steel. Very light and comfortable to wear. Three skulls were equipped with zirconia on both sides. This allows the head to be rotated in two directions. He can look either forwards or backwards. The two skulls on the side, each separated by two beads, complement each other perfectly. This elegant necklace and bracelet set is an edition and limited to 50 pieces.
There are different standard lengths of necklaces for women and men. 40 cm, 45 cm, 50 cm and 60 cm are the usual lengths for a necklace for women. These lengths also have different names. If the necklace only measures 40 cm, it is a choker chain. A princess necklace measures between 45 and 50 cm and usually reaches the collarbone. The matinee length is 50 cm, but if the chain is to reach the neckline, it must be at least 55 cm long. Incidentally, anything longer than 65 cm counts as an XL necklace and can even be looped around the neck twice as a rope necklace.
A men's chain usually reaches to the collarbone and is 50 cm. With a length of only 45 cm, it reaches to the base of the neck and is suitable for men with a smaller collar size. The standard size of 55 cm reaches just below the collarbone and 60 cm length ends above the breastbone.
If you want to measure the right size for a child, you should determine this by age and height. These necklaces are usually between 35 and 40 cm. However, keep in mind that a children's chain should be shorter rather than long so that it cannot accidentally get caught.
Wrap a soft tape measure around your neck. Keep it parallel to the floor as you measure. Add five to ten centimeters to the collar size to determine the recommended minimum length. If your collar size is between 33 and 36.8 cm, then a 45.7 cm chain will work well for you. The most common chain lengths are 40 or 45 cm. For women of average height, these lengths sit nicely at the neckline. For those who prefer longer necklaces that reach the chest, we recommend a length of about 55 cm to 60 cm.
There are two ways to measure size: you can measure wrist circumference or the length of a matching bracelet. In the table below you can see which size is right for you. We advise you to measure your wrist circumference as it is a fixed size and therefore we can make a perfectly fitting bracelet. If you measure the length, you can enter the appropriate size (round up). This method is not as accurate and therefore not recommended*.
|16 cm||±18 cm|
|17 cm||±19 cm|
|18 cm||±20 cm|
|19 cm||±21 cm|
|20 cm||±22 cm|
|21 cm||±23 cm|
We recommend measuring the wrist circumference. You can easily measure this by placing a tape measure around your wrist where you wear the bracelet. Just take actual size and don't add centimeters. Don't measure too tight and don't measure too loose.
Alternatively, if you don't have a tape measure, you can take a strip of paper and trace it on your wrist, then measure the length of the strip to the measured point; this is the wrist circumference. If you take the length of another matching bracelet, remember that this is not as precise. This is because the thickness is different per bracelet.
